The event itself exceeded all expectations, drawing in over 250+ eager individuals, many of whom were venturing into the world of open source for the very first time.
The support and collaboration of our event partners—Interledger Foundation, GitHub, and Appwrite—were fundamental in turning our vision into reality. With their invaluable aid, the two-day event was filled with an atmosphere of learning, sharing, and the creation of enduring memories.
A notable high point of our event was the privilege of hosting Ashwin Kumar Uppala as our keynote speaker from the GitHub Education team. His insights and expertise were not only inspiring but added an incredible layer of value to the entire HacktoberFest event. Alongside, the audience gained invaluable insights from Santosh Viswanatham, particularly regarding Mozilla and open-source development, delving into the intricacies of the Interledger Protocol (ILP).
Personally, being the keynote speaker at the CodeWave Hub: HacktoberFest 2023 edition in Hyderabad was a profound honor. Sharing my passion for open source and HacktoberFest with our incredible audience, alongside Izhan Ali, Syed Khaja Fareeduddin, and Mohd Mujahed, was an enriching experience.
